Fleseastorm - Great Voice, Average CDThe CD isn't as fantastic as Leona's voice. There are a few jems here, such as Better In Time and Forgive Me. But the rest is just average at best. A lot of the CD sounds like 90's pop/R&B. Here I Am sounds like Mariah Carey's Hero. I Will Be, originally intended for Avril Lavigne, also sounds like a 90's Mariah song, as does the Music Box worthy Yesterday. Next time around it would be wise to give Leona her own sound, or at least a more modern sound. Let's hope she gets material worthy of her voice.

Unfortunately in this album Lewis fails to capture the magic feel of the #1 hit and falls flat on a lot of songs. She even worked with Akon in "Forgive Me" but it just doesn't live up to the hit single. The only listenable songs are "Footprints In The Sand" and "I Will Be." Even the single "Better In Time" is just okay. This album is still worth purchasing though. She is very talented vocal wise, now only if she got the right songwriters and producers to make a more steller album.

11 Take A Bow 5/5 I hope that this is the next single. She sounds amazing and this is more upbeat. the first two singles were slow but, this I have no doubt will be a top 10 hit, if released.
12 Footprints In The Sand 5/5 This song would go perfect with a movie. Escpically about friendship. This is just amazing and its flawless.
13 Here I Am 4/5 Great song, great voice, great talent.
Overall:
I believe that Leona has the talent to be the next Mariah Carey. She can hit the high notes and belt it out.

Even though she has a great voice, I was still underwhelmed for some reason. Maybe the strength of the lyrics in these songs was not as strong as her singing. Also the beats threw me off. Her style of singing reminds me of a young mariah carey. She definately is a good singer and I would reccommend buying some of the songs you like and not the whole albulm. You are definately not going to love every song.
