I bought Spirit on iTunes when it first came out, and loved it. Then, I wanted to buy a physical copy, but I learned that she was releasing The Deluxe Edition, so I waited. Then it wasn't released in the U.S. when it was released in the U.K. I am so glad she finally released it in the U.S. Leona is an AMAZING artist with an absolutely terrific voice. I suggest this album, even if you bought Spirit (the regular version).

This is one of the most amazing albums I've heard in a really long time. Leona really gives me some hope that there are still some good music out there. Her voice is mesmerizing and so are her songs. I cannot wait for her 2nd album.

Leona is such a great true talent in this day and age.. She is a great person inside and out.. Sweet and sincere, has the voice of an angel and great mentors to guide her and her long awaited career.. This album definetly shines cause she sings in likely most genre of music and makes it work.. Her first single "bleeding love" is a jaw dropper.. Her second single " Better in time " is juz perfect.. Her rendition to snow patrols "Run" is beautiful.. Talking it back to Roberta Flacks," the first time i ever saw your face" she juz hits it on the spot.. She is to me, a world class act, with true talent and a nice free spirit.. This Deluxe edition deserves more than 5 stars..

Ever since Leona came out with her CD. I was unimpressed, songs, lyrics, vocals didn't impress me. Now, about a year later, I'm starting to really enjoy her voice. Her songs, lyrics, everything.

One of the best voices I have ever heard. The whole CD is incredible. I especially love Footprints in the Sand and I will be. Her music is creative, and I love downloading her songs on my ipod.

I know a lot of great songs and love them all but when it comes to Miss Lewis, she's another story! I'm not gonna go into words explaining how great she is; even that voice! The song 'Run' is not only my favorite but matches it perfectly! Lewis's voice is beyond words in which anyone can explain. If anyone doesn't like her, then there's something wrong with you! Music has meaning, not just great choreography!

Tracks 1, 3-11, and 13 are the original tracks from the regular edition of Spirit (US Track Listing Only). #2 and #12 are on the original edition of Spirit, but on this album are remixed slightly. The piano intro lasts longer in Better In Time and in Footprints in the Sand, there is no piano in the beginning. Just accapella singing, and then soem strings. The Deluxe Edition comes with three new songs and a remix of Lewis' chart-topping single "Bleeding Love". "Myself" is a laid-back acoustic only song featuring a new artist "Novel". "Forgiveness" is a piano ballad written by Leona Lewis herself, and new American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi. "Run" (Single Mix on the US Deluxe Edition, Album Version on the UK Deluxe Edition) is a cover of the song originally sung by the group "Snow Patrol". This album won't disappoint any buyers, Lewis's voice is truly angelic, a present-day Whitney Houston, and most songs are well-written. Singles include, Bleeding Love, Better In Time, I Will Be (Single only in the US and Originally sung by Avril Lavigne), Forgive Me, Footprints in the Sand (UK Single Only), A Moment Like This (Track only in the UK and Ireland and was originally sung on the season finale of American Idol by Kelly Clarkson) and Run.
