She is such a great artist, so versatile. She does her ballads like no once else can, but this track and album has what rarely any artist can do, this is like a ballad mixed with a Euro Dance track, it has the voice and the beat. Go Leona i will always support you, we need more you in the business instead of untalented Gaga-s, Rihanna-s, Kesha-s or these fake singers.

She COMPLETELY ruined Avicii's "Penguin"........unfortunately this is the only version of the melody available on iTunes (at least here in the US - not including the real orchestra version). Avicii.......you're KILLING me. "Fade into Darkness" has grown on me...."Don't Give up on Us" was the best version, next to the original club mix w/no vocals. PLEASE make the songs available in the US????!!!! I've been waiting for Almost a year.

nice song, leona did not lose her vocal genius but only 1 single song since 2008 and Collide was last year?! it's excellent but not as magical as her early work. she must have reason(s) why not new albums came out. but we'll wait for her classy sassy sexy vocal talent ; ) let's just hope that she doesn't disappear on us, deprave us, like Sade or that fame gets to her head like Mariah Carey, whose gone ugly& lost her soul since her debut album in 1987.

It's been awhile since we heard from UK songbird Leona Lewis. She's back in a new way with the dance-ballad "Collide" (which samples Swedish DJ Avicii's stellar "Fade Into Darkness" btw). A risk from her standard ballads, but it really works and shows that Leona is versatile as well as talented. "Collide" is the summer single to the diva's upcoming third album, "Glassheart". In short, thumbs up to Dance Leona! 5/5

Leona Lewis has one of the best voices the recording industry has seen and in this single, we see a new side of Leona - we see a bit more personality in this dance-esque song, along with some great vocals toward the end. Both of her previous albums are terrific, and I'm sure her third album, "GlassHeart" will top them both! Can't wait to see her perform on the US X-Factor!! :-)

Leona's powerful vocals hit the high notes in the chorus and the beat is awesome. I've always enjoyed Leona's remixes in the past and although this is not the first time she's done a dance track (check out "Outta My Head" and "Right Here Right Now" from her Echo CD), i love it! Looking forward to the new record "Glass Heart"

I don't know about this, I love Leona so much! She is one of my favorite singers / songwriters ever, but this isn't her. I just don't know if it's the lyrics, or the beat, or the weird Avicii thing... I just don't know. The song it alright, but I find some of the vocals are messed, and the notes are off tempo badly. The back up singers kinda ruin it, and Leona has such a beautiful voice, and can release it more in her music! Took me forever to find this by the way..... Thought the song is alright!

This is deffinantly a different type of song fo leona lewis to sing but overall this is the most amazing dace/melody song i have ever listened to. if this was leona lewis's or avicci's first single everyone would or should know there names. it is a shame thought that this didnt get enough promotion cause if it did it would be number on on billboard's top 100 , take 40 and of course itunes top 10!!!!! and btw this came out before fade into darkness!!!

The tune is good but the lyrics knock it stone dead.every line sounds as if a 13 year old has tried to write a song and just made every line rhyme.it is terrible.also the song is so dull and boring

This is a great song and with Leona's vocals its FANTASTIC . This has a great beat to it and it really gets stuck in your head . Can see it being played in the club's a lot too :)

Leona Lewis really has really shown that she has no morals with this track. With the only good part of the song stolen from Avicii's Penguin. This is a typical music industry theft example where something so well made gets taken and then tastefully sung over, which then ruins the original in turn. *Cough Chris Brown Cough*

It's AVICCI's tune not this pop factory's tune google Avicci and Penguin then you will hear a decent song :-)

At first there was huge rights dispute as Leona did in fact release it without crediting avicii, then they both realised there was money to be made and released it.... the vocals do not correspond to the music as they werent written with tim berg's (avicii) production knowledge of his own track... avicii should have just kept it without lyrics and maintained his class....

The two things I love in music are bass heavy club anthems and amazing powerful singers, collide has both and I love this song! I've been a huge fan of Leona for years and when I first heard this I loved it instantly!

The original of this song is a mixed result, it works in areas, but in others it doesnt really do it any justice. Id give the original 2 & a half stars, wereas when I heard this Afrojack remix, it just gave the song the boost it needs. It may not be 5 out of 5 stars perfect, but never the less it adds the synth dance beats that it needed. As well as a more likeable hook, than Avicii's.
