I have just received the box set of movies for Christmas and have already watched them all with my sister!! At the end of every movie I told her not to fast forward because that was the song they played!! I love Hedwig’s theme it is so ominous and elusive!! John Williams has done his job well!!!

I wish I could give this 2 million stars. We all agree that John Williams is very overrated but the 4 best songs are the Prologue (which is Hedwig’s Theme), Harry’s Wonderous World, Leaving Hogwarts (which is a VERY good scene in the movie), and Hedwig’s Theme (once again). I have all the books (3 soft cover and 7 or 6 hard cover). I’ve been a fan ever since I was a little 10 and a halph year old girl. My younger brother has been a fan ever since he was 8. Im 18 and I’ve been a fan for 7 and a half years (almost 8) and Henry’s 16 and has been a fan for 8 years. My mom and dad LOVED the books when they were my age (well, my mom was a few years older than me when the books came out and she got my dad into it). I’ve been to the wizarding world in both Orlando and California and I’ve been Hermione, Professor McGonagall, Professor Trelawney, Moaning Myrtle, Ginny Weasley, and Petunia Dursley for Halloween. I know everything about Quidditch.

This soundtrack helped me to sleep after my EPIC jungle sounds cassette got dead lol and of course I had already read the books before ever seeing the films so this is by far my favourite soundtrack of the series.

I really wish to take myself in time to being a kid these days when I see this 💽 that's based on the First 📕that J.K. Rowling wrote 16 years ago. I really hate to be mean, but it really sucked that Hollywood didn't hire me to play Hope Estrella Feelgood (my made up 😊 half-blood witch character) that day, because they storyline didn't revolve around her when I wrote my First 📕 called, "The Magical Adventures of Hope Feelgood & Harry Potter" which is a play on "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" by: J.K. Rowling. Can't you just see me and my famous friends as kids?

As a John Williams soundtrack collector, I was insanely happy to buy this album. As a nerd in general, it’s another nerd thing that John Williams has written for and consequently worth cherishing. I only wish John had written the scores for the other films. I get not being able to do #4 on account of Star Wars Episode III, but come on, bro! You had nothing to do between 2009 and 2011!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is the incorrect title for this album! It is the PHILOSOPHER’S STONE! Jeez. The book and film are British, therefore the soundtrack should have the British (original and proper) title. Just because you stupid Americans have your own title for this book, because you don’t understand the word Philosopher’s, does not mean it should be called something different! I love the music though.

You guys are correct as this is the UK iTunes it should display the UK name, but to those who said there is no such thing as HP and the Sorcerer's Stone, you are wrong. That is the American name of the first movie, so it does exist and I can see Apple (an American company) making the mistake. Although it doesn't justify it, they should research stuff before the put it up for purchase. But as far as the actual album goes, Congratulations John Williams! Great score for a great movie.

I love the Harry Potter films and what make it so good is the soundtracks. They help make the movies with tracks like Hedwig's Theme and Harrys wondrous world. And to the people who state the title is wrong as it is a 'British film', ITunes is an american company, and although it was filmed in the UK with an all British cast, all funding was from the American film company, Warner Bros and as JKR sold the rights to Warner for the first 4 books for £1million, i honestly think it is more American to be honest. I am english by the way but just had to put my pennys worth in!

An excellent soundtrack to go with a truly spectacular and moving movie. However, there is no such thing as 'The Sorcerer's Stone'. The correct title is 'The Philospher's Stone'.

This is a wonderful score, John Williams was an inspired choice for scoring an adaptation of such a popular book series. Hedwig's Theme is beautiful.

When I heard that John Williams wasn't returning for the final installment of Harry Potter my heart actually sank. Desplat may have done a good job but where was the Harry Potter magic in the music that this film and the 2nd and 3rd had? I didn't feel it. The acting and rest of the film was superb but the music...no. Tracks like "Hedwig's Theme" and "Harry's Wonderous World" are some of the most well known themes all over the world but, mainly because this film was slightly darker, Desplat didn't use them so much. "Leaving Hogwarts" ,especially, deserves to be played at the end of Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

This is a truly wonderful album. However I find it really irritates me that it has the American title when I used GBP to pay for it!
