Amazing

Musically awesome, lyrically mediocre, but Dying In LA is FANTASTIC. Not as good as a lot of Brendon’s other music, but I still recommend it! But it should definitely not have the label “alternative”, let’s admit it, Panic! at the Disco has become pop music. Good pop music, but it’s not alternative anymore. It’s definitely not as good as Death of a Bachelor, but I’d recommend it if you appreciate pop music with some jazz and musical theatre undertones and excellent use of violins. Individual song-wise: Silver Lining: Brendon Urie saying that life is amazing. Musically very interesting, lyrically pretty good, a fair amount of layers to it. Say Amen: I honestly have no idea what this song’s about. Lyrically it has some great lines and it’s interesting and musically it’s absolutely epic. HLM,IMI: It’s not great. Musically it’s very interesting, it has some great layers to it. Lyrically it’s not amazing. It’s a fun song and it makes you smile a bit. High Hopes: Pretty good. Musically good, lyrically not awesome. Some strange analogies, but it’s motivating in a way. Feels a bit like he’s bragging at parts. Roaring 20s: Awesome song. Musically it’s fantastic (some great jazz and Bollywood undertones, and vocally amazing; he definitely learned something special on Broadway), and lyrically it’s one of the best on the album with some awesome imagery. Dancing’s Not A Crime: It’s okay. It’s not a lyrical masterpiece to say the least (but the filthy/guilty as charged lines are nice), and the instrumentals can be a bit irritating. It’s not bad per say, though. One of the Drunks: Vocally fantastic and it’s awesome if you listen to it with both headphones in. Some good imagery lyrically and great musically as well. The Overpass: So fun musically, lyrically mediocre. Catchy but in a good way. Fun to dance to. Would recommend it, musically it’s very interesting with a lot of layers. King of the Clouds: Musically AWESOME. The melody is so cool and the verses have an awesome vocal effect. Some cool imagery lyrically. Old Fashioned: Lyrically not awesome, musically not awesome. This song is not awesome. Impressive vocals are what makes this song worth listening to. It’s not annoying, but I don’t go out of my way to listen to it. Dying In LA: A masterpiece. An absolute masterpiece. The music, lyrics, and vocals work together to make this song the most emotional song on the album. The violins are to die for. It brings tears to my eyes. This song is breathtaking. Overall a pretty good album. I’d recommend it.

I wasn’t a big fan of the other stuff but this album was awesome. Way to go panic at the disco.

Freakin Amazing album

So I absolutely adore this album. I love how each song has its own unique vibe. There are one or two songs that aren’t my favourites, but they are still great. The lyrics for this album is amazing, the song that first caught my attention was roaring 20s, I love the vibe of that song and the music mixed with the amazing lyrics and vocals blew me away. Another one that caught my attention was dying in la, I love the soul fullness of that song, and how it draws out certain emotions, while also being catchy and lyrically sound. Old fashioned is another great one I love, I think that it has such fun lyrics to it while having a deeper meaning. Overall great album. Well done and can’t wait to see you guys live.

I’m very disappointed. Ever since Brendon was the sole member of the “band”, the music has been going a little down hill. DOAB was a good album, but it did have its flaws. But THIS new album isn’t the greatest. I really wish Panic! could have stayed as a band, because if Panic! was still a band, I’m sure someone would say “Hey, shouldn’t this have actual instrumentation?” The album lacks heavily in guitars and the drums sound very programmed. Also, some songs just have pop beats. Hey Look Ma, I Made It (Which I do like) has little to no instrumentation. There are good songs on the album, like Hey Look Ma I Made It, The Overpass, King Of The Clouds and Dying in LA, but other than that, a lot of these songs aren’t very good. I would go as far to say that Old Fashioned and One Of The Drunks are terrible songs. In the end, I was hoping for a better album, but it’s not the worst.

This album has already taken over my life, I haven’t spoken to my family, friends or even my cat. I’m always busy either whipping to roaring twenties or crying to dying in LA

The album seems a little off the 4 prerelease songs had energy and passion where the rest seem off and just no spunk with the usual urie flavour. Not as good as I hoped.

Pray the wicked is amazing, it’s hard to pick one song as a favourite. Brendon Urie has an incredible voice and I’m so happy for him and the band on such a successful album.

I've known P!ATD since late 2016 mostly because I've been seeing people posting stuff about them, and I just wasn't that much into hearing their music at that time. I'm not saying I already didn't like their music before I heard them for the first time, but I just heard of them. And I absolutely had no idea who Brendon Urie was. But until a year and a half after, I was actually listening to the band's music for the first time ever, I just couldn't regret it. Because of a certain internet friend who seems to love Panic, I knew I was gonna end up getting addicted to their music because I figured that they really seemed like a famous alternative band. I'm not the kind who worships idols for the sake of the religion I have, but as an inspiration, when Brendon made a quote saying "I'm still figuring out who I am. But I know I'm not who I was." It reminded me of when I look back on the old person I used to be. Because when you do, you could feel bad about it. But when you look at the better person you currently are, you'll eventually feel more good about yourself other than that bad person you once were. For that, people will start to remember the good person you are/were when you die. Some could take inspiration from you for what you did and everything after you die, and that is what everyone calls an impact. And basically, it's more like a legacy that you leave behind.

This style of music is so far diverged from Panic!’s original sound, and the past three records (including this one) are suffering for it. Brendon’s voice is not well-suited for the fast-paced vibe of these songs.

Panic! is such an amazing band and this album proves it!💛

The album is amazing, a new kind of music by them though (in a good way). Definitely worth the listen and if you’re down for wasting $10 go for it you only live once. If you don’t like it be glad this band is old and have more albums to listen to (even though it gets real “it’s not a phase mom” the further you go back). Overall great music looking forward to more in the future

Every single song on the album is so different and catchy and as usual, pure genius when it comes to lyrics. It’s slightly different when compared to the themes of DOAB but Pray For The Wicked definitely lands a spot in my Top 3.

This is honestly such an amazing album, such a great way to spend your time listening to it, anywhere and everyone, 10/10 was worth the wait, one of their best albums!

I’ll admit, some of the songs on this album get on my nerves and, in my opinion, are repetitive. However, tracks like ‘high hopes’ and ‘hey look ma, i made it’ really make this album for me. I’m proud of Brendon and thankful for new music but some of these songs sounded like they were made in 5 minutes.

I absolutely love this album so much! It’s such a variation of different genres (sort of?? No idea how to word it) and isn’t the same repetitive stuff over and over again, and every time you listen to it it sounds like brand new and different from the last.
