Thats my Favorite

When I was in high school back in the early nineties, this album seemingly came out of nowhere. An air of mystery surrounded the band. This was waay before Google and the Internets. The whole record got so much play, everyone remarking on how intelligent the album was. I don’t know anything about their other records, I just know this one is completely amazing from start to finish. And the guitarist’s talent cannot be overstated.

The title says it all.

This album brings back so many great memories!! I was in my early 20s in the Army and stationed in Germany! My buddies and I would listen to Tool all the time!! It was such a great time in my life!!

Long awaited and anticipated. But they knew that they were going to have to do this with their music anyway because they’re not making CDs anymore and how are they going to make any money if they don’t dive into the Revolution especially with the new album coming out they’re not making a CD they’re going to make a streaming version or a digital version so they got to get on board they got to continue to make money so it’s only natural I’m sorry guys but” life’s a garden dig it!”

There are fans who contend Aenima is Tool best record. I am not going to argue strongly against that but to me for pure emotion and climatic moments and listenability over 100s and 1000s of times, and tight song constructs with powerful hooks, this is their best album. I discovered this album when I was 14 years old before Tool made it big. How ever many years later it is now it still sounds as great.

If I were wealthy, I would try to convince the band to perform this entire album live. Every song is stellar; if you only purchase one Tool album; this is it.

Waiting so long for these masterpieces to be available on iTunes.

I've only been able to listen to this on 128 bit rate rip of my origianlly purchased cassette. For decades I don't even own a cassette player any more! THX for making Tools catalog available for streaming!

Going to be listening to Tool all month

Undertow is as Undertow does. If you’re in a foul mood or need to inject some fury into that project: look no further. You’ll find one of the best metal songs written in the 90’s on this album, Sober. Don’t stop there though, Intolerance, Bottom, and Crawl Away among others are all classics that rock just as hard.

Almost fell out of my seat seeing these on iTunes, wait is over and stoked for the new album!

There are few albums released that defy genre placement upon first listen. Nothing's Shocking from Jane's Addiction immediately comes to mind, Rage Against The Machine's first album as well. Undertow from tool is another. This cd played endlessly on a loop when purchased back in 1993. I still throw it on regulary and am able to enjoy it - it holds up very well. I saw tool on the tour supprting this album and it's still one of the best shows I've ever seen. This album is their high point.
