The greatest Santana album of all time is Welcome and the next greatest is Borboletto. There is not a single song from either in this compliation. That is understandable in the context that we are looking at commercial hits that people recognize - but wouldn't it be great one day if we could get compliations with really the best songs from an artist?

santana is one of the most best guitarist that known.his music is the best.i have my own guitar to and when ever i hear his music it makes me want to practice more and more so i could be as good as he could play.this is my favorite aulbum keep rockin santana.

This is a must buy for any rock fan. Nickelback fans should love "Into The Night" too because of the Nickelback lead singer singing and playing acoustic guitar.This is one of the greatest albums ever!

"She's Not There" from Moonflower has the definitive Santana solo and was a big FM hit from "back in the day".

With the lack of "Winning", "Hold On" and "Nowhere To Run" (not to mention a re-record of the great track, "Game of Love" - for which is odd to say for someone who loves Tina Turner as much as I do), I find this collection only worthy of it's sound quality. But song selection is beyond the typical complaint most have with collections. WAY BEYOND!

Carlos Santana is one of the best guitarists ive ever heard. I love hearing the unique, jazzy, latin sound that Santana has. Of course, nowadays Santana mostly does features with other aritists, but most of the old classics are just as good. Santana can take the crappiest aritist and make them sound unbelievable. I would definetley recommend buying Smooth (with Rob Thomas) Into the Night (with Chad Kroeger) Why Dont You & I (with Alex Band) and my personal favorite, Just Feel Better (with Steven Tyler). Also, remember to buy Black Magic Woman and Evil Ways. Both are excellent songs.

Great collection, but without Soul Sacrifice (especially the Woodstock version) this is NOT the ultomate Santana.

Ultimate Santana has great songs I haven't heard in a while. Of course Into the Night the greatest song on there, it still has other songs I like.

This was the third album i have from santana and it has most of his classics. I urge anyone who likes santanan's music to buy this album!

I am still trying to understand why there are only three new songs on this 18 song compilation. Santana needs to find his producer and manager and fire them immediatley!!! Bring back the ROOTS...we need another Abraxas!

I love this album. The only song I didn't like was "Into the Night" because it was mostly Chad Kroeger and there was very little Santana.

This has my favorite songs by Santana, but I haven't heard over half of these songs.

My first song that I ever heard by santana is Smooth. My play count 7608 times. It is one of the best songs on the album. Into the Night is fantastic. And Just Feel Better with Steven Tyler is just amazing. I would recommend listen to the previews of all the songs.

Santana never fials to impress with their great mexican feel and carlos santanas shiver inducing solos and they produced again.

Santana is my favorite and I was so happy when this album came out. In my opinion there is no song on this album that is bad, they are all great songs. The only thing that I was dissapointed in was that more than half of the songs are with another band. His next album though is going to only inculde music that he choses which will rock!!! Go Santana!!!

Half the tracks are "with" someone other than Santana, and they sound like it. The Steven Tyler sounds like Aerosmith, Tina Turner sound like Tina Turner, the forgettable mooks sound like forgettable mooks.... Some of them are tollerable and some are even good, but I've already deleted 3 tracks from my library after one listen. Yes, deleted from my library. I don't want to hear them again. Skip this album and buy the individual tracks of the people you like. If you want Santana for Santana try another album.

Wow. I have loved Santana since Supernatural came out when I was...not very old. I would always liten to Maria Maria and Snooth. And now I love Into The Night. This whole CD, and anything by Santana is amazing that anyone would love. A must-have!

Santana's music is some of the most enjoyable to listen to, and has (I feel) more talented guitar playing than a lot of bands I've listened to. Carlos Santana is a musical god, enough said.

I ve been a Santana fan for a looooong time -- we are the same vintage, ya' know. So, I was dissappointed when the last tour ended having gotten to see him 2x - Vegas and Atlanta. You can imgine my excitment when the new c.d. was announced -- and my disappontment when I realized I already owned the tracks -- I was expecting NEW material....serious bummer. Question: Does this album play the entire "Black Magic Woman" with the incredible closing jam or does it cut like on Sanatana's Greatest hits Album? (infuriating!!)

Despite the addition of an over-played song, this album is still amazing. But screw the appearence Nickelback's vocalist, there's so much better on this album.

Santana is great at mixing elements of latin music with classic rock. I love Tina's version of "The Game Of Love". Chad Kroeger performance on "Into The Night" is great! This CD is outstanding.

I love Santana's music, always bringing his singnature guitar solos to the songs, which is a main reason of why i love his music. Maria Maria, Into the Night, and Smooth have got to be my most favorite songs on this album. No one will ever stop listening to Santana, I know i wont.

Why in all the glory of this CD did they forget to include any of the songs from that legendary work of art? This is a great compilation, but needed some Caravanserai at least one song.
