- Speechless

Words can't describe how great this album is!!

- he's back

i knew after hearing "my racing thoughts," that this album was different. it contains the heartbreak of everything in transit, mixed with the power of glass passenger, making this album something entirely different. andrew mcmahon, i applaud you.

- Sensational.

Andy McMahon is pure genius.

- ChimneySwift11

ChimneySwift11 sent me! Great album!

- in love

Amazing like always!

- I miss Something Corporate

Andrew is incrediblly talented but his voice annoys me on this cd. Nothing beats SC for me and I even love everything in transit but been dissapointed since....Ill give it another listen though....

- Expect anything less?

It seems like anything that Andrew McMahon is involved in just makes him and all of the people around him overall better. Whether it's being a better musician or just a better person in general. He's come a long way since his days on Something Corporate. Everything In Transit was a masterpiece as it told the story of picking up the pieces and moving on. The Glass Passenger was just as good as it spun the tale of his battle with cancer and contemplating the dread of death. People & Things in it's own way has a another great story from the mind of McMahon. I have high expectations for this album, and I can happily say I wasn't dissappointed. In a way it has the upbeat nature of Everything In Transit (My Racing Thoughts) with a bit of a sad under tone from Glass Passenger (Hey Hey Hey). But again, it's also very different from those albums. Either way, this band is only getting better.

- Awesome.

Amazing!! Love JM. Best album yet!

- incredible

- People And Things

Jack Mannequin Hot One

- A+ album.

I knew there was a reason why I always say this guy is my inspiration.

- Unf

I just love them so much unf. This album is amazing xxx

- I was so excited for a minute when I saw this..

I didn't know Andrew was working on another album! But I must say, this is not at all a favorite of mine. I have been listening to Andrew McMahon (Something Corporate, JM) for 7+ years and this album for me doesn't compare to any of his others.. very disappointed with the actual music/instrumentals. His singing here is pretty weird too.. shaky and strained like he can't really carry a tune in a lot of songs? Ten Days Gone may be the only track I take from this one.. If this is the first you've ever heard of Jack's Mannequin please check out the other albums! He truly is an amazing artist who has been through so much and has the courage to sing about it. I hope this is not his last!

- Amazing

I have all Andrew's albums and I will say this album is one of best! The things he can do with music, just amazing! Things he sings about so real and true! Great album!!

- Simply awesome

All of the Jack's Mannequin fans have been waiting for this day! This CD rocks. The piano is beautiful, the lyrics are amazing. I am highly partial, but it really is great. Andrew is crazy talented and inspiring. You seriously will not be disappointed! Release Me, Hey Hey Hey, and Casting Lines are my favorites so far.

- Perfect

These days so many songs on the radio are totally meaningless and straight forward. People and Things, along with the all the other past albums, has beautiful, meaningful lyrics. Andy has a gift of taking things we all think and putting them into words that are moving. Wonderful album.

- A new great group!!!!

I met the group, in particular, Andrew, on stage at the last Coachellafest. I was most impressed with their set and became a fan. I have bought all, including this newest, recordings. What a great sound and intelligent music, which lacks in this day and age.

- Amazing

The best album yet!

- It's great!

Andrew is truly talented! Everything he seems to make I've loved and People And Things doesn't change a thing. Its way different then Passenger and Transit but in it's own amazing way. Andrew probably wont ever make album like Transit again but it doesn't make his music any less great I think the stuff he writes now has lot more depth to it. he is ever-changing and that's why I love him so much. As long as he continues to make wonderful music and write beautiful lyrics I will always be a fan.

- A fall from glory

Andrew McMahon evolved from the simple-but-loveable Something Corporate into the complex rock artist Jack's Mannequin, the result of which was the perfectly balanced masterpiece, Everything In Transit. With this album, he has officially completed his tragic fall from a rock artist into a soft pop-y something-or-other artist. I feel like Coldplay is pouring the Lifetime Channel into my ears. I'm giving this album two stars instead of one because "Release Me" is reminiscent of his prime, and "My Racing Thoughts" is passable although feels like a complete rehash of one of his other songs that I can't recall offhand. I'm just glad I've seen him in concert 2 times playing his original repertoire (once after waiting 8 hours in the rain!). All in all, this is the musical equivalent of Star Wars: Episode I.

- Good

The album is consistently good (but a little flat). Its easy to listen to without skipping any songs, however the only song I find myself repeating is #1. I guess after the first two albums, and the brilliant Dear Jack EP, I just expected more songs to stand out. That being said I still love these guys and will always support them by buying their music. No doubt this album is still worth buying.

- Andrew McMahon

Will always be amazing. He can do no wrong.

- Mind Blowing

If people are expecting another "Something Corporate" album, they are wasting their time. He was a kid, had different life experiences and different priorities. And his voice is never going to sound exactly the same as it did 8 years ago. He's older, he has been through Hell, and he's lucky he can sing at all. THIS is who Andrew is now. I wish people could enjoy this amazing album for what it is - a piece of Andrew's heart, put on display for all of us to see. I, for one, think it's fantastic.

- I've Never Been More Impressed!

Listening to this... I fell in love with Jack's Mannequin all over again. I feel like this is what Andrew's career needed to soar.

- amazing

really great music i love piano rock and chimneyswift sent me [S] and i love your guys music

- Fantastic!

I've been a fan of all of Andrew's projects, and I feel like this album is the highest point of Andrew's career-it's just amazing! He keeps saying that this album brings things "full circle" and I feel that way, too. I can't even explain the feeling. You must hear it to understand the superb creativity that is Andrew McMahon!

- <3

This album inspires me

- Amazing

I love anything Andrew does and I have been waiting for new music from Jack's Mannequin for so long and I am so happy it has came!!!! I love it!!!

- So Pretty!! X3

it is such an amazing album. Jack's mannequin is one of my favorite bands and they've impressed me once more. My favorite tracks are 'Amy, I' and 'Hostage' but overall its a beautiful album. 'Restless Dream' is also really beautiful. I just love the music they write so much!!!!! X3

- Amazing ...again

Per usual ... I can't stop listening.

- YES YES YES

They've done it again. And I can honestly say every single song on this album is PERFECT. They killed it on this album. LOVE IT.

- Love it!

I have been looking forward to the album for years and they did not disappoint at all. Every song is great!

- Excellent

A very strong collection of songs from start to finish. Nice to see an artist who puts effort into the entire album.

- Amazing new album

Amazing album. It's a different sound, but in a good way. Artists who always sound the exactly same get fazed out, and Andrew has found a way to keep his amazing music but keep moving forward. This is a great album, Restless Dream is my favorite song on it far! Saw them live over the summer, and I was definitely not disappointed! One of the best musicians I've ever heard :)

- Awesome!

Of course it's good...it's jacks mannequin. What else would you expect?

- Fantastic Album

We all know that ..Transit is a perfect album, but we need to accept that the band and Andrew are maturing. I love this album, not a bad track. Wasn't a huge fan of Amelia Jean at first but now it's stuck in my head!! If you are looking for an album lthat sounds like EIT, this ones not for you.. But if you're willing to explore what else JM has to offer, BUY THIS. Its amazing. Highlights: Television Restless Dream Release Me People, Running Platform Fire Hey, Hey, Hey Eh EVERYTHING is a highlight !!

- People and Things Day

I have been counting down the days since August and it was definitely worth the wait. In People and Things, the songs have a bit of Everything In Transit flair as well as a bit of The Glass Passenger. Jack's Mannequin has definitely matured since Everything In Transit. I'm always playing Jack's Mannequin where ever I am. Andrew's piano continues to amaze me. I think that Mikey is fitting quite nicely with the band and Jay and Bobby continue to contribute to the beauty of this band. Absolutely phenomenal, Jack's Mannequin. Continue your amazing work and please come to Boston soon!

- Truely amazing

Like his style of music.

- Jack

This is not the same Andrew McMahon who wrote the brilliant Everything in Transit of 2005. But how could he be? Having looked death in the face, and lived to tell it, Andrew seems to have moved beyond the superficial, into something more concise and ethereal. There really is no bad track on this entire album. Hell, there probably hasn't been a bad track on an Andrew McMahon album since Audioboxer, and that really says something about an artist. Here's a quick run-down of the highlights of the album: Release Me - One of my favorite tracks on the album, just so full of passion Amy I - Slightly sorrowful, but full of emotion People, Running - Andrew has a way of taking situation he's in, and applying the sort of "don't worry about it, theres worse things in life", notion. "We are just these people running around, and its okay, don't worry we'll figure it out" Amelia Jean - Many of you probably heard the piano-only version on Choke, California. The song is nearly unrecognizable from that form, but remains one of the best songs on the album, undoubtedly. Platform Fire - One of the slower, more gripping songs, along with Casting Lines Bonus tracks: My personal favorite was Broken Bird. Part of the hook "You think I'm stronger, I think you're wrong girl" could not have a better ring to it. Second place of the bonus tracks: Dancing with a Gun Anyways, another great album from Andrew. He's really honing his sound and image into something spectacular. It's no Everything in Transit, but it was never meant to be.

- Disappointed

I've always loved the albums, but this one is terrible from a music standpoint. It sounds really commercial. There's not one single gem of a song on this album.

- Perfection

I just had the opportunity to see Jack's Mannequin perform with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. It was absolutely amazing. I've literally grown up with this band and have seen them mature through out the years. I loved it all. The new music gave me goosebumps. This is a great album.

- Another Album Falls Flat

I really hoped that after Everything In Transit, Andrew McMahon would be able to keep that high caliber of catchiness. I was sorely disappointed with The Glass Passenger, because the sound was so different. Everything In Transit was one of the greatest albums I have ever listened to. People and Things did not have me tapping along, and it was altogether forgettable. I miss the old Jack's Mannequin.

- not the same jacks

this band has gotten progressively worse in my opinion. everything in transit was amazing, but this sounds boring. ill be surprised if i listen through this cd for a second time. nothing really caught my ear. still love jacks mannequin and have huge respect for andrew mcmahon, just disappointed

- amazing

Most under rated artist in our time but still puts out great music

- amazing.

Jack's Mannequin never fails me. They are an awesome band and Andrew is an amazing person and singer. I hope they continue to make wonderful music.

- I have waited all to long for this. It was worth it.

Undeniably catchy and beautiful.
