Perfect music of course but RE MASTERED? Humm sounds EXACTLY the same as many older copy's of these songs. If you already have these tracks don't spend your money, but if your'e buying for the first time, the same tracks are available MUCH cheaper.

If you don't, you don't know anything about music. Elvis inspired EVERY musician that came after him that you can name. So you can't hate him at all. It's against the musical law to hate such an iconic figure of music history.

I'm 14 years old and I'm an Elvis fan!! I'm so proud to be one!! Elvis is the most important figure in music and acting and just EVERYTHING!! He made music fun, exciting and impacted the emotions that come with listening to it! He was so talented and just so fun to watch and listen to!! There's nothing that's going to change that! This is when music was actually music! Now these days, the stuff they play on the radio isn't music. THIS IS MUSIC!! It's fun, catchy and you can actually understand what he's saying!! I love Elvis even tho his gone but not forgotten. His music still lives on. So don't down him or his music. I just wish I got to see him in person but I don't. I really love his music we play it a lot in the car and while I do my house work.

My Grandmother is suffering from end stage Alzheimer's Disease. She is on hospice and on her way to my house for the final days of her life. She is unresponsive and moaning and muttering words that don't make sense. She was a huge Elvis fan so we played this album for her. She actually opened her eyes and began to hum along to the tune. It brought back for her some memories as well as us some peace. Thanks be to God and to The King of Rock and Roll! Tired Grandson

Why does everyone cut this guy slack, just because he can sing? This guy was a drug addict ,and i wouldn't want my daughter to marry someone like this ! He was an adulter,womanizer ,his image was kept squeaky clean.the real Elvis hid many sins..

I love all of Elvis Presley music and movies. I have most of them, so I can listen when I want too. I have been to Graceland twice. I think my favorite is In the Ghetto and Peace In the Valley. I can relate to them thur my life as I grew up.

Some people do not like Elvis, but I am hard pressed to understand how anyone with even just a basic knowledge of the art of music can not hear the vocal ambience of his voice. Most people do not realize that the only three grammies he won were for his gospel music. It was his passion and because of it the gospel audience reached people otherwise never reached.

This music is still an amazing work of art from the King himself. If you don't like Elvis you probably don't have a pulse...

While others such as Chuck Berry might have equal claim to being "The King of Rock and Roll", Elvis Presley is without a doubt one of the greatest rock singers that ever lived. He may not have been a songwriter, but his vocal talent was immense. "Hound Dog" is one of the best songs of the 1950's, as is "Jailhouse Rock". Though Elvis is gone, his legend will live forever.

I'm 30 and appreciate a LEGEND. To me Mr. Elvis is where it all began. Without him, much of the music we hear today just wouldnt be. That can be a good thing and a bad thing too. One of his best but not heard that often. Even having lived during his active years, I had missed how surpurb his talent and delivery was. Until after he had passed on. Only through the preservation of his recordings have I and now many others can appreciate his great talent. This particular recording exemplifies his vast grasp of any particular song he performed

You don't just get named "The King of Rock 'n' Roll" for anything. Elvis is a legend that will never die. His music will always be with us and hopefully we can teach our generation what real music is through him! In the 50's he was the biggest thing and as years go on, less and less people know him/forget about him. He had an amazing musical style, his voice was incredible, and every girl fell in love with his looks. This album is great!

I am a tremendous fan of rock and metal, i love all aspects of both genres, and i can tell you sometimes, when your into a music genre, it helps to go back to its origins and work your way up through that genre's history, then you can truly appreciate its progress, my verdict on this album....... 5 stars

No one is perfect, but even at 28 I haven't found a singer, musician, entertainer that has done what the true King has done. Though I'm not very religious, when Elvis puts his talents into a Gospel like Amazing Grace or There Will Be Peace in the Valley, there are few equals regardless of song or genre. Most of, if not all of these great remastered songs should be in every music connoisseur's library. If you love "real" music you have to love at least a handful of the King's gigantic collection of songs he recorded and these remastered versions are a great starting point if you don't.

My friend and I are planning a Vegas themed party and needed a quick Vegas song to have as our themesong. When I found that song by Elvis, I fell in love! It's an amazing song in itself, and I'm sure the whole album is even greater! I love Elvis! :)

that quote is not true. that legend is debunked. he was touring down south at that time which the magazine Jet said that he was in boston and said that.
