Reading the Album Review on top is confusing, mentioning a parody "Liven La Vida Loca" between Antonio Banderas and Eddie Murphy? The hell does that have to do with anything? Anywho, this is a great soundtrack
its the same as the narnia music. harry Gregson williams does the same thing in every soundtrack. but its still good.
Seria muy bueno si apple pusiera peliculas en español como esta y otras puedo garantizar q vendieran muchas
If you like the director's cut of the movie like me then you will enjoy this soundtrack. For me this is one of the best ever made and i recommend getting getting the full collection. It is a piece of art and a delight to listen to
The soundtrack for this film is trully incredible, and it really sets the tone and mood of the movie. It is one of the most diverse movie soundtracks I've heard in a while and is good for just sitting back and relaxing; It has very soothing pace and sound. I love both this soundtrack and the movie and I think that its a worth-while buy.
This truly is a remarkable composition. The entire soundtrack captures that medival European/Middle Eastern vibe. All the songs make you feel strong, confident, and at peace. My personal favorite is The Crusaders.
The movie was great, and the soundtrack is as good if not better. HG-W serves up another blockbuster soundtrack, yet with an added delicacy not seen in every hit movie. At worst, the tracks are decent background music, and at best, they are virally catchy tunes that can stand and set the atmosphere by themselves, setting this soundtrack apart from four star ones. "Burning the Past," "Crusaders," "Ibelin," and "Sibylla" are the best tracks, so iconic that they become the feel of the film. "To Jerusalem" is memorable, too. If you want some fun instrumental music, buy the tracks. If you want a soundtrack unlike any other in your library, get the album. Its fusion of medieval monastic chamber pieces and Middle Eastern scales is fresh.
This soundtrack is hands down my favorite score ever composed (right next to American Beauty, check that one out too). Harry Gregson-Williams pulls out a masterpiece filled with unique sounds that set the scene for the movie and completely relax listeners of the soundtrack. Great study music as well.
I really like the chanting in Track 11 Terms, does anyone know of other music like that? Thanks!
This really, really fit in with the movie. I absolutely love Swordplay and Saladin, but then again they're all wonderful. Harry Gregson-Williams is a genius.
This soundtrack is probably one of my favorite's even though I didn't see the movie. The music is totally epic and eligent and it must of took a long time to make it because it rocks. I would definite recommend this.
The written description up top is for the soundtrack of Shrek II-- not Kingdom of Heaven. Thought someone should know.
A masterpiece is an understatement. The aesthetics, mood, characters, and atmosphere resonate in the music. @Rex the great: I understand your critique. However, may I highlight that most film composers if not all have common themes, styles, melodies, etc... in various films. For instance, Silvestri used almost, if not, the exact same notes for key action themes in Back to the Future and Predator. Its a common occurrence. The key is to find those who have variations of their style of which Elfman is often criticize for not having. I am a big Hans Zimmer fan and even I had to recognize how much Sherlock Holmes over used the same melodies. On a side note may I recommend updating the "album review" considering its actually a review for a Shriek soundtrack.
By far my personal and favorites movie.
The soundtrack isn't exciting and jaw-dropping, but it's very appropriate for the film, which is what a soundtrack is supposed to be. It's exciting to hear Gregson-Williams's uniqueness in every song all the same. Also, the 'Album Review' is for Shrek 2. Random.
The score is a go to when I need to slow the pace and find some balance. Melodies take you away to someplace exotic. I tend to emerge from listening to this score refreshed and more focused.
One of my favorite soundtracks ever.

LOVE this soundtrack. Completely different style from the likes of other composers such as Hans Zimmer. Don't get me wrong, he's great too! Just different. Yes, the review at the top is for Shrek! I should check the Shrek review and see if it's actually for Kingdom of Heaven! Someone goofed on that one!
I love this particular score; it is one of his best works...say did anyone else notice that the official album review is talking about Shrek and not Kingdom of Heaven?
The best soundtrack for an historical film in a long time. (See the Director's cut of the film for a much better explanation of Orlando's character and history).
After I watched this film I was determined to get the soundtrack; good work by Harry Gregson-Williams, his instrumentation really pulls you into the crusades acoustically, and the variation of the music is impressive, ranging from simple vocal pieces (wonderfully done), to full out orchestral ones.

How is Gerry goldsmiths 13warrior music in this film other wise great
This is one of my favourite films hands down, and that is mainly because of the hauting music that accompanies you as you journey with Balian in Jerusalem, walking the thin line of politics and bloodshed with feelings of intrigue, sorrow and occaisional terror. All thanks to this soundtrack.
Kingdom of Heaven is one of my favourite films of all time, and the soundtrack is just amazing! My favourite tracks are Crusaders, Ibelin, To Jerusalem and Light of Life, but the whole cd is brilliant! I would strongly recommend this soundtrack to anyone who has seen the film, but even if you haven't it is well worth a listen!
The film was amazing but the soundtrack was one of the things that really made it special.
I loved this music score when the film was first released and now, together,as a complete compilation its truly beautiful and haunting. Its one of those sounds that just takes you to another place in your mind and heart. The first track:Burning The Past-just astounding in its simplicity and beauty.
A soundtrack to end them all. The music is soul piercing and worthy of my ITunes library. I would suggest this to anyone who has or hasn't watched the film. A gripping soundtrack that I can't praise enough. Everytime I listen to it, I want to watch the film again. A truly masterclass in music perfection.
Another amazing soundtrack by Harry Gregson-Williams and a brilliant film to, would definatley recommend it!
An excellent soundtrack to a marvellous film. Sets the tone prefectly and emphasizes the core emotions partrayed. I'm just curious at to why the album review thinks it is "Shrek 2"...
Director’s cut brilliant and the music perfect.
