I feel what haters feel about this album but I'm just asking without caring about what to rate: What is "Something in your mouth supposed to mean?"

Nickleback is my favorite band ever and this is my all time favorite album now!!!!!!

Immature lyrics, every song sounds the same. Basically, nickleback is the worst, least talented band in the history of recorded music.

Pretty much everyone knows that Nickelback is freaking horrible. Seriously, I would rather have my face melted off, Raiders of the Lost Ark style, than listen to even a sample of this, or any other Nickelback album. If you like Nickelback, and likely drive a large SUV or lifted truck, then I feel deeply sorry for you, your loved ones, and any poor soul that might have the misfortune of existing within earshot of you.

Im a country music guy but i love this band.

Something in Your Mouth- 4/5 Yeah, it's dirty as can be, but can you hear the instrumentals? Just great and Chad's vocals just make it that much better. Burn it to the Ground- 4.5/5 One of the best on the record. Hard hitting, head banging, great, heavy, rocking song to party to. Gotta be Somebody- 4/5 Another highlight on the record. A catchy pop-rock song that just stays in your head forever. I'd Come For You- 4.5/5 One of my favorites. Love the theme, the sound, and the lyrics. Hits me hard. Next Go Round- 4/5 A heavy hitter, similar to Burn it to the Ground that makes you wanna grab the first thing you see and use it as a microphone to lip synch to. Just to Get High- 3.5/5 Another hard hitter with an impactful message with it. A song for someone who likes meaningful, impactful lyrics. Never Gonna Be Alone- 4.5/5 Similar to I'd Come for You. A great theme, a great sound, and great lyrics. Another favorite of mine. Shakin' Hands- 5/5 In my opinion the best hard hitter on the record. Has a slower tempo with a head banging sound to it. Love it. S.E.X.- 4.5/5 Another hard hitter with a suggestive theme, but the sound makes up for it with catchy riffs and drums. If Today Was Your Last Day- 5/5 In my opinion the best lighter song on the record. Simply amazing. The theme is great, the sound is good and the lyrics are simply motivating. Love it. This Afternoon- 3.5/5 Another song to party to, but with more of a pop sound to it, which is why it is not my favorite.

Do yourself a favor and buy Queens greatest hits for the same price. If Queen ain't your thing at least go get an affliction t or a bleached blond permed mullet, you'll appear way less douchy than a nickleback album on your cc statement.

Nicole is the best band they could ever live. I'm tired of seeing bad comments about a band that is truly a legend especially to me. Thank you for all the hard work you put in making great music.

This album is kind of a joke... Most of it is immature junk and is a bit of an embarrassment to the modern rock world... But i'm giving it a 3 star because burn It to the ground and If Today Was Your Last Day

I would have given this 1 1/2 stars if I could because there is only 2 good songs on this album: Just To Get High and If Today Was Your Last Day. The rest of the album has mediocre instrumentals and horrendous lyrics. As a Nickelback fan I can confirm this is their worst album they ever. Chad thinks Hesher is bad but he obviously hasn't listened to this twice.

Well first of all I wanted to say that to all of you haters and critics. Why do you have to come onto the reviews and say negative stuff? Just remember that if you have nothing nice to say then don’t say it at all. So here are my thoughts 💭 for each song. 1. “Something In Your Mouth” 10/10 - A really great song about referring to a female who gets attention from men by her provocative dress and movement. This song also has a great beat and tempo for dancing and rocking out to and did I forget to mention partying as well? 2. “Burn It to the Ground” 10/10 - Another really great song about and for literally burning everything to the ground. 3. “Gotta Be Somebody” 10/10 - A very good song about finding that special someone that you love. 4. “I’d Come for You” 9/10 - A song about how he would help his women no matter what happens. 5. “Next Go Round” 10/10 - A fast, upbeat dancing song about sex but I would love to hear more about it. 6. “Just to Get High” 10/10 - A song about bad things that happened to one of his friends. 7. “Never Gonna Be Alone” 10/10 - A song about how his women or just anyone is never going to be alone no matter what happens. 8. “Shakin’ Hands” - 10/10 - A song that is about a girl who becomes a highly successful prostitute using her body, deception, and sexual skills. 9. “S.E.X.” - 10/10 - Yes it’s about well you know what I am talking about. But it is such a great song with a great beat and a great fast tempo as well and it defines what the TRUE meaning of sex is. 10. “If Today Was Your Last Day” - 10/10 - This is such a great song about what would you do if it was your last day on earth and how you spend and live it. 11. “This Afternoon” - 10/10 - This a very great song about hanging out and having fun spending time with your family and friends or whoever you spend it with this afternoon. So this is a really great album by Nickelback and I LOVE ❤️ this album and most of their albums in general. And I LOVE most classic rock and hard rock music in general and some pop, blues, and country as well. So great job Nickelback and keep on making the best music I have ever seen in my lifetime!!!!!

Nickelback is awesome, no matter what people say. Yeah I get that they have some songs that take it a little too far, but most of them are just your good rock songs. My favourites off of this album are If Today Was Your Last Day, Burn It To The Ground, I'd Come For You, Just To Get High, Never Gonna Be Alone, This Afternoon. If Today Was You Last Day is definitely a meaningful song that basically sends the message of 'what would are you going to do with the time you have?' This song means a lot to me and reminds me that there's more to life than what you think. Burn It To The Ground is your party hard and never stop song. It's basically a pump up song says 'go have a blast.' To summarize I'd Come For You and Never Gonna Be Alone, they are heartfelt songs talking about someone you miss, or you wish things would work out between. It's saying that you'd never give up on the person, no matter what happens. Just To Get High is probably one of the saddest songs I own. They basically talk about addiction and knowing someone who went/going through a hard time in their life and hit rock bottom. It seriously made me cry. This Afternoon is one of your laid back songs. Kind of a party song where it talks about being around your best friends and never wanting the best time of your life to end. Thank you for anyone who actually read all that. Sorry, it was kinda long.

Nickelback was already going downhill with All the Right Reasons (2005), but Dark Horse is the abyss. Chad Kroeger’s vocals are insufferable and he sounds more than ever like a wounded goat, and every song is flagrantly recycled with the same themes: sex, drugs, prostitutes, sex, alcohol… and sex, all of this told in an immature way (« You look much cuter with something in your mouth », « Sex is always the answer/Never a question/‘Cause the answer’s yes ») Musically, this album can be summarized the following way: quavered ballads and faceless hard-rockers. Unfortunately, not even Mutt Lange’s production can save the album from drowning. Creative emptiness.
