All of her songs on this album are wonderful, but those were the ones that really stuck out for me! Carrie Underwood is MY idol!!:)

Play On is an amazing album. From the upbeat tempos like "Cowboy Casanova" and "Songs Like This" to the tear driven ballads "Temporary Home" and "Someday When I Stop Loving You" to the amazing collaboration with Sons of Slyvia "What Can I Say?" this album has many gems on it and everyone will find a song they like. I personally think its a huge growth from her latest effort "Carnival Ride" due to the fact she co-wrote seven of the songs on this album which I do enjoy very much. However I do find that there were some filler songs like; "Look at Me" and "Unapologize" as well I found "Quitter" and "This Time" were very similar in beat. Overall though a very fluent and strong album and I do enjoy listening to this album whenever driving around town or just spending an evening trying to relax listening to music.

I swear, this is my FAVORITE album of all time. Carrie Underwood is THE BEST COUNTRY SINGER, and artists like Taylor Swift, Hilary Scott (Lady A), Sara Evans, Miranda Lambert and even Martina Mcbride aren't even HALF as good a singer as Carrie. I love each and every 1 of her songs. She took Shania Twains mix of country and pop and took it to a WHOLE new level. She is without a doubt the best American Idol there ever was and I encourage you to BUY THIS ALBUM. <3 u Carrie

I'm not a huge fan of country music....to me, most country singers sound the same, and they all have the same twang to their voice, especially the guys....but not Carrie Underwood. Carrie has a unique voice, a sexy voice...for country music, this album is pretty darn good!

I like country but I don't love it. If you're in the same boat as me don't worry about getting this album, it straddles the pop-country line really well, it doesn't get bogged down in the really country elements some people can't stand (BBQ stains on tshirts and tractors). It's light at times (Cowboy Cassanova), has strong ballads (Change), and everything in between (What Can I Say). Surprised me how much I liked this album, it's versative sounding with lots of personality. Listen to a few of her singles, if you like them get this album!

I was trying to write a review for a couple songs by themselves but I couldn't so I'll do it on here! First, Cowboy Casanova. It's crazy awesome! And Undo It is also crazy awesome. I used to think I wasn't a country music girl. Then I was introduced to incredible people like Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift, and introduced to Lady Antebellum's hit, "Need you now." Boy, did that change. Now my favourite music is pop AND country! Rock on! Or rather, country on!

Carrie Underwood has an AMAZING voice. Some of my favourites on this album are: "Mama's Song" "Temporary Home" and "Change" Also, "So Small" and "Just a Dream" are amazing. Carrie has very powerful vocals. She totally deserved to win American Idol.

Her music is inspiring and unique. Temporary home made me cry , it was so sad but inspirational at the same time. Underwood is definetly a great artist . : )

This album is many things... It can be fun and sassy, or even deep and soul-stirring. Once again, Carrie Underwood has outdone herself and created an album that is worth more than the many awards it is bound to recieve. Bouncing back to her #1 single 'Before He Cheats' Carrie croons of the nasty two-timing guys in the world. But, like 'Jesus Take The Wheel', She has created thought-provoking ballads that live forever. May this album forever be praised so it can live with the wonder and bewilderment it deserves.

I HATE country music... but there's something about Carrie Underwood that makes me appreciate it a little bit more. The only country I'll ever listen too will be Carrie's songs. Totally cool...but the songs are kinda repeatative.

Really disappointing. I have her albums, really enjoy them and bought 'Play On' blind with the expectation of greatness. Her voice is beautiful but the melody is bland and the lyrics are juvenile. Listening to it, even as background music, is grating.

If people who love this so much can write a three word review, then I can write a two line review about how much I don't love it, because I just know I'm going to be listening to this for the next six months in my boring retail job. Thanks'abunch Carrie for giving us something interesting.

I believe that Carrie Underwood has never sounded better! I enjoy this album as much as her other. The songs are catchy and enjoyable! This is a great album to buy! No matter what type of music you like (even if you don't like country) you will love this album!

Every song on this album sounds the same, except for Cowbow Casanova which is probably the only ok song on there. Also, her vocals are always annoying and painful to listen to. I don't know how people can buy this.
