IDC32 - BEST PENDULUM SO FARI got the UK release back in November 2010. So I had already listened to the epicness of this album, before it came to the states. I own all the Pendulum albums and this is by far my favourite one. I have listened to the CD more than 30 time I would imagine, and I am still not tired of the songs. The only song I don't like is The Fountain; All other songs are awesome. I hope they make another album just as good or better than this one. ^_^
algonath - Pendy's Best Work YetThank you Rob and company for making another amazing album.
Its the best since Hold Your Colour(aka the "Perfect album").
This album however came soooo close to topping the "Perfect album".
I love every single song in the album EXCEPT for Comprachicos. Could not grow on me.
An extreme rarity for me not to like a Pendulum song since I own ALL their albums and their pre-HYC stuff.
5 STARS still.
The Beeby - Rocking my earsI like the combination of styles and sounds.
Stevecom777 - One of the Best Electronic Albums of 2010!I have had this album since it's first day of release. It's been about time that this is now up on the American Itunes. Now, this album was really epic. Pendulum has done a great electronic & drum'n'bass masterpiece in this album. Overall, this album was worth it and i really am looking forward to see more Pendulum and see them in concert =D
ConsciousDistortion - Such an incredible album...The Prodigy influences are apparent throughout, but it doesn't stop this album from top-notch from start to finish. Every track here is given great attention to detail, while each being distinct and fun with huge replay value. Favorites include Crush, The Vulture, and Watercolour, but that's picking from an album full of favorites. Pendulum is one of those rare groups that gets measureably more skilled with every release. Highly recommended!
NYC-Natedog - YEEEAAHHHHHHGGGG!!!Whenever I listen to Immersion I feel like I'm reentering the Earth's atmosphere.
Electris293 - Great album! This album is great! Each song is produced very well. Robs vocals are the best! My favorites are watercolour, crush and the island pt 1. This album was done very well!
Luis_thi_Lion - Best Album ๐
I love this album, it's the best one yet. I wish they made another album in 2016 at least. Awesome album!!!! ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ป
Milkus Maximus - I dare say........their best and most intricate offering yet, which is saying A LOT. FANTASTIC.
Jackbean8822 - Rob Swire is a GENIUS!!!Finaly this album is out in the US store. It's my all time favorite album. My fav tracks r The vulture (best live) the island part 1 & 2 and set me on fire.
Kokonutty - Wow.Wow. One of my fav. artists is Daft Punk and iTunes reccommended Pendulum for me.
The first song I listened to was Watercolour.
After that I said, 'oops! did i just buy like, all of their songs. :)'
Amazing! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
The best songs on here are Watercolour, The Island (pt. I & II), Witchcraft, and Encoder.
that is all.
NudeNate - CrushHow is this song not the most popular one on the album?!?
TimRosales750 - Amazingly Awesome! What an album! I get lost in an amazing world every time! MUST HAVE!!
Squigs657 - ProblemsSo Pendulum is a great band and everything, but I have some problems with this album and In Silico. I downloaded these albums to my iPod, and some of the songs didn't work. It would just skip over those songs. I even restored my iPod and re-downloaded the songs, but nothing changed.
Still a great album.
Justin snachez - The song Watercolour is the bestThat is a good song its a 100%
DiBbZ117 - It worked!Will one day be a classic
linda starling - ImmersionThe sample tracks on the Immersion album are great but when I purchased and downloaded the tunes, many of them were entirely different than the sample tracks. Has anyone figured how I can get the same tracks as are on the samples???
Chucker - ExcellentLOVE LOVE LOVE this album. Great mix of songs. Each one is a bit different. Self to Self is a fantastic song.
djmixalot - witchcraftI LOVE THIS ALBUM
Witchcraft is my fav
revan.05 - cant explain how i feel...This isnt music in its traditional sense... its something new all-together. I have never felt the way I feel when listening to this album while listening to mainstream "music". I have been a fan of electronic/techno/d&b since the early days of The Prodigy and Orbital (early 90's) and must say that this album blows away anything else I've heard. I cant describe how masterfully this album is done, with nary a track making me second guess my view. I've been following Pendulum since I was offered a free download of "Hold Your Colour" years ago and instantly became a fan. I can say that this is THE one band/group/artist that has not let me down. And usually within a span of 1-3 albums from the first, thats where things end up. Not the case it seems here. Even IF they release crap the next time around, I can still say they gave me the one album that left my ears ringing and my tongue tied. Album of the year? I'm sure most wont agree, but as a fan of this genre, I'm inclined to say "Album of the Decade".
Gnost1c - IncredibleThis album....this album is so much awesome mixed with thick drippy bass, chest pounding riffs, perfectly matched vocals, and a healthy dose of gas pedal mashing mayhem. This was one of the best purchases I have made on iTunes. Do your ears and friends a favor, get this frickin album on your pod and crank it!
Pie guy333333(hedgehog ninja) - BrilliantI first heard their song "the island pt 1" on the radio (s xm bpm) and I was in love. It's was brilliant. So I bought that. Then pt 2. Then the whole album. This was by far one of my best buys. It is unique and I haven't heard anything like it. Please release a new album soon!!!
BASS CRAFT - PerfectionThey nailed all the elements of a perfect album I love the drops and high bars! Brilliant work!
Tapakegabeer - Amazingly CreativeThese guys do everything right. They have a very unique way of blending D&B, synth, guitar, pianos, and smooth lyrics into some phenomenal stuff. There is even a hint of Dubstep in there too. You simply cannot ask for more creative ear candy. They remind me A LOT of what The Prodigy used to be (think 90s era). I definitely recommend this album.
Favorite songs:
1: "Watercolour"
2: "Set Me On Fire"
3: "The Island (Dusk)"
Side Note: Pendulum's "Blood Sugar" (not on this album) is a must own.
Preludedude2 - A Must Have Album!!!This album is unbelievably awesome! Every track is like taking a needle full of adrenalin and injecting it directly into your chest! Highly recommend this album! Enjoy repeatedly.
TXKWest - Pure goldThis is honestly one of the BEST albums I've ever heard amongst any artist. It keeps to the theme of immersion and still has the Pendulum D&B we all love, but it also throws in hints of other genres that really make this album absolutely amazing.
Shard121 - IncredibleThere are only three songs on here I can't stand (Comprachios, Self vs. Self, The Island Part 2) but the rest are freaking incredible. So catchy and intense
Maxthecat1000 - This is music!Amazing album. Best song is the island. I'm addicted to that song!
rockstar16 - CAUTION: your mind will blow to piecesThe Island 1 and 2? speechless. other songs are equally transporting
enDofhEArTacHe11 - UnbelievableImmersion is hands down my favorite album of all time. Eight out of the top ten most played songs on my iTunes are from this album, which is saying something: I have almost 3,000 songs in my library. It is absolutely unequalled. Believe me. Buy this album, and I promise you that you will be beyond happy that you did.
L1L 61RL - LOVE~First ever pendulum anything I listened to. LOVE IT! Love pendulum, I know listen to anything and everything pendulum, they are amazing. This is one of my favorite albums of all-time.
BrandonUltimate - Phenomenal AlbumI love each and every track. Each song hypes me up to do anything.
bite_me703 - Freaking BrilliantEpic is probably a better description than brilliant. Talk about music that takes you away! I could listen to Pendulum all day long and this album is just absolutely fantastic. Each track is beautifully crafted and any fan of...well who cares what you are into, this is so great you will like it no matter what. Favorite tracks include Watercolour, Witchcraft, Encoder, Crush and Under the Waves. Buy the album, it will be the best purchase you make.
HYWYRTO - SpeechlessPendulum at their prime. They've turned away from their DnB roots and experiment with new styles. A few highlights of the album include the addition of the singles "Witchcraft", "Crush", "Watercolour" and "The Island", four definite standouts of the album. Ben Mount "MC Verse" makes his debut in "The Vulture" and Pendulum tries their hand at drumstep in "Set Me On Fire".
yeahReally? - ImmersionI can lose myself in the music. My neighbors heard Island Part II because I was blasting it and downloaded the album! It's awesome!
jacob526 - Still goodNot gonna lie, even being 5 years old and overshadowed by breaking up, it's still nice to go back to the roots of Robs perfect vocals.
Scary Movie Time - definitely buythis album is pretty good if u ask me
Renardo20 - Amazing!!I just randomly clicked on this album while looking at Linkin Park and I'm freaking glad I did. This stuff is awesome!! Did not expect to hear something this good. I LOVE MUSIC!
theironmaiden - Actually UnbelievableSo I'm in the middle of my math homework right now, but while I was doing that, I was also listening to this album, which I have owned for just under three months now. I was listening to the whole album, and I was just forced, out of pure genius of the album, to write a review. This album is that good. I reccommend this music to any fan of alternative, dance, electronic, rock, or metal. Every single song on this album has a great hook in it. Please do yourself a favor: listen to the clips, enjoy the music, purchace the music, and enjoy one of the best decisions you've made in a while. This stuff is awesome.
MusicMan2498 - Absolutely IncredibleLet me just start off by saying that this is far and away Pendulum's best album, and is personally my favorite album of all time.
1. Genisis (no rating) - Pretty cool intro, leads nicely into the first actual song.
2. Salt In The Wounds (8/10) - Solid upbeat start to the album, and one of the only tracks without singing. The slowdown and then build up of the beat about halfway through the gives the song a unique feel. A little bit long though.
3. Watercolour (9/10) - Great song. The lyrics and vocals are near perfection, and overall the track has a ton of energy. There's a part about halfway through where the instruments cut out to just singing that has an awesome harmony to it. Very inspirational but gets you pumped up at the same time.
4. Set Me On Fire (6/10) - My least favorite song on the album. The electronic parts sound pretty cool, but overall the song feels a bit slow and repetitive. Also the singing is very strange sounding (it's definitely NOT Rob Swire). Not a bad track, but just kind of a space filler.
5. Crush (10/10) - This song definitely has more of a rock influence than some of their other songs, but they pull it off fantastically! Robs vocals are incredible, and the lyrics are extremely powerful. There's also an acoustic breakdown at the end that gives me goosebumps to this day. Without a doubt one of the best tracks on the album!
6. Under the Waves (8/10) - When I first listened to the album I wasn't crazy about this song, but it has definitely grown on me. It may seem kind of slow the first couple of listens, but once the hook gets stuck in your head you'll keep coming back and listening to it again and again. There aren't a lot of lyrics, but the vocals are still nice, and the electronic parts of the track are very catchy. Very melodic and relaxing.
7. Immunize (9/10) - Again one of those songs that has grown on me the more I hear it. The vocals from Liam Howlett make the track really stand out, and once again the electronic hooks are extremely catchy. Much more upbeat than the previous track, with heavy doses of "wub" style sounds and effects.
8. The Island Pt. 1 (10/10) - One of my personal favorites on the album. Very electronic sounding, but also very melodic. The track has a very "full" sound to it (many layered instruments and sounds), and once again Rob Swire's vocals are sensational. Amazing synth hook as well. Definitely worth a buy if you're not going to get the whole album.
9. The Island Pt. 2 (10/10) - This song starts out with the same synth hook as featured in part one, but then breaks into some of the craziest sounding underground night club techno stuff I've ever heard! It's almost impossible to not dance to it, no matter where you're listening from. It sounds absolutely nothing like any other track on the album, but it's insanity makes it awesome. Seeing them perform this live was probably one of the most memorable experiences of my life, no joke! Maybe if you're not into this type of dance music it can get a little repetitive, but if you are this track will without a doubt be a fun listen. Super high energy.
10. Comprachicos (7/10) - Its hard to follow up The Island Pt. 1&2, but I don't understand why so many people hate this song. It does start out a bit slow, and the beginning vocals are not the strongest on the album, but once the song reaches the chorus it's actually a pretty nice track. The song definitely has a heavy rock influence, and the chorus actually sounds a little like Audioslave (in my opinion). Not their strongest song on the album, but still enjoyable.
11. The Vulture (9/10) - Another song that's great to see live. Super upbeat, and features some rapping from their MC Verse. The only reason the song doesn't get a 10 is because the two build ups take almost a minute and a half of the song. Other than that, it's another energetic track with a great hook. Verse's rapping also gives it a unique twist.
12. Witchcraft (15/10) - Absolutely perfect song. Perfect vocals, meaningful lyrics, and great synth and beat. My personal favorite song of not only this album, but of all time. Starts out with some slow melodic singing, and then kicks into one of the greatest electronic tracks ever made. If you don't want the whole album, you ABSOLUTELY MUST BUY THIS SONG.
13. Self vs. Self (7/10) - Pure electronic fans will probably not like this song, but if you like metal you probably will. If you already liked Pendulum and In Flames then I see no reason why you wouldn't like this track. A little too much screaming for me, but the rest of the song blends together very nicely. Odd collaboration, but a decent song.
14. The Fountain (8/10) - A very melodic, relaxing song, but not in any way downbeat. Steven Wilson's vocals are extremely soothing, but the song does seem just a bit repetitive. The electronic aspect of the track I don't think is as strong as say Under the Waves is, but the vocals keep the song fresh and solid.
15. The Encoder (8/10) - Another very soothing, melodic song. A gap in the middle of the tracks makes it really feel like 2 different miniature songs, the second of which is much stronger. The first part of the song has kind of a strange beat to it, and doesn't feature Robs best vocal performance. But the second half of the song sounds really emotional and feels like the perfect ending to the album. The vocals are much smoother, and the song as a whole seems fuller. It also has a nice guitar riff that fades out at the very end of the track, and very deep lyrics.
I know it's been a couple years since this album came out, but I only discovered Pendulum a few months ago and thought if share my opinions on what is currently my favorite album of all time. Immersion is an extremely unique album with tons of diversity from track to track, which means that it won't be getting old or boring any time soon. To anyone reading this, I hope it helped you out a little bit! :)
Buy the album!
Jeremycw1 - There's a reason this album has nothing but 5 star ratings.I havent' found one review that has been less than 5 stars. Makes sense, considering how awesome it is.
Daniel Stillwater - Buy itAll songs are good but the best are the island pt 1, crush, and my favorite is whitchcraft. The best album I've ever bought
levineandrew100 - First DnB album in my libraryMy favorite is Genesis into Salt In the Wounds :)

Wolf and black panther lover - I LOVE THIS HOW DID YOU MAKE IT PLS MAKE MORE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HOW DID YOU MAKE THIS. I LOVE IT. PLS MAKE MORE. ๐คฉ๐๐ฅณ๐๐๐๐ฅฐ๐๐๐๐๐ป
Joskeezy - LegendaryThis is such a good album. Definitely a must buy. All songs are masterfully put together. Set me on fire is an epic track!!! Pendulum has blessed us once again.
MattM29 - WowI think this is the first album where I actually like all of the songs!
TehWaffle - :oWow, from DnB to dubstep....pendulum ftw
knittedLink - Thank You, Pandora Radio! The first song I heard by Pendulum was "Set Me on Fire". It came up on Pandora Radio when I was listening to another electronic band. I personally love the heavy electronic sound though I know that puts off other people. The other thing I like about the album is that all of the songs sound different. That sounds kind of silly, but with electronic music it's easy to have all of the songs sound similar. I will most likely end up buying the entire album, and I will definitely have to hunt for more music by this artist.

iPhone Rascal - Pendulum: Two WordsAbsolutely Brilliant!
Shadey400 - Musical brilliance.I only just started listening to Pendulum recently because they came highly recommended from a friend. Since listening to a couple of the songs from this and previous albums I can confidently say this easily bests all of the other artists that compose in the same genre of music. Every song on this album is epic, Rob Swire is the singer, really what more needs to be said? Amazing 5/5.
Jezza1685 - FantasticThis is excellent!
Jront1 - jront1Awsome, simply awsome.
Larry Bird '08 - 100000000000000/5This is truly the greatest album I have ever bought.
It is a life-changing hour, makes me think about everything differently.
THANK YO PENDULUM!
Pennyiscute - It's a Winner!Ok, so pendulum's last album was a failure...BUT THIS ALBUM BREAKS THROUGH! Every song is completely different to the last! You will not be disappointed. Get it, get it now!
s3tTz - AmazingThis album is my first taste of Pendulum, and even though I bought this a few months back, I'm still mind-blown every time I put it on! I'd also like to add that I am far from a metal head, but Self vs Self is my favorite track...I could just play that intro on a constant loop...absolutely PUMPS!!
Lachie, The Insect Lord - Best 68 mins of my life!Every song is similar but in its own unique way. If you get what I mean... But I would give it 1000000 stars if I could! Listen to one song & you'll be hung. A must buy :D
hayden2607 - Great!Nice album i think its great they have a bit of metal in here (Self vs. Self) really suits them! 5 stars!
The T Brett - ImmersionGood, strong album. Has a bit for everyone, and I like that they didn't stick to the script. There is some awesome "Pendulum" stuff here but they have taken a few leafs out of a few books, and kudos to them for keeping fresh. The Islands is a great departure while still sounding and keeping the Pendulum vibe, but back half after The Isalnds is a little weak and they may have strechted a little (Trent Reznor mimic didn't stick), but up to that point, it is Pendulum at their bleeding edge point.
About6goats - PendulumFreaking epic so worth it pendulum is victorious do ur self a favor and buy why r u still here go bak a page and buy go on really please hurry
Big-down-under - Yeahhhhh!!!!!This is the album of the year!!!!! Yeahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
kerrie7118 - What's next?Awesome album I absolutely love you guys! When's your next album coming out? Can't wait!!
Pete Dawson - AmazingSelf vs self and salt on the wounds are amazing. Also witchcraft is fantastic
$h@n!212 - :DBEST BAND EVER!!!
jakecantsay - Epici don't believe Pendulum are getting the attention and respect they deserve. This is an amazing album. Its hard to compare to their previous albums as it doesn't have quite the DnB feel that Hold Your Colour does, it's more similar to In Silico if anything. It's still an amazing album in it's own right. The Island parts 1 and 2 are the standouts along with Wichtcraft and Watercolour. Set Me On Fire, Crush, Under The Waves and The Vulture are also favourites. Salt In The Wounds is the new Slam for me its a great track with a similar feel. Overall this is an album that you have to buy, it is a masterpiece. Can't wait for the next.
Prancer37 - OmG!I love this band they r my insperaton of music and to get the album so cheep I meen it's a doubble hitter here!

Machinima Fan. :) - EpiczzzzzzzzzzLove you guys at pendulum, great album and the best song by far is... WITCHCRAFT!!!!!!!!
lced Coffee - PendulumWitchcraft FTW
dontsquashmeplz - WitchcraftMy fav song, I just love the techno beat
FizX - Immersion is true to its word.I've been playing this album many, many times now. I have not grown tired of it. Above all a superb effort introducing different vocal artists to blend in with the creative drum n bass electronica songs. To me this is not the best balanced album Pendulum has created. This has a deeper range of style, but some are not well executed.
I wish there were a little bit more songs.
Genesis- 3/10 "Great name for intro, but this is the only song I won't listen to repetedly"
Salt in the Wounds- 5/10 "Very long song, its okay but it didn't have the x-factor feel"
Watercolour- 10/10 "Definetely the best song of the album"
Set me on fire- 7/10
Crush- 8/10
Under the waves- 8.5/10 "Good song to give to the DJ"
Immunize- 6.5/10
The island pt 1- 9.5/10 "Absolutely fluent to cruise your mood, an organic/natural feel"
The island pt 2- 10/10 "Only the 1st half, it has the most powerful shockwave beat"
Comprachicos- 5/10
The vulture- 7/10
Witchcraft- 9/10 "Strong expressive sounds both vocal and tunes, great balanced song"
Self vs Self- 8/10 "A heavy metal song, the most different one and it justifies to be embrasive"
The fountain- 7/10
Encoder- 10/10 "Sounds like the theme of the album and it flows brilliantly to an epic finish"
Tad275312 - Why?I don't know why you all like it it just a guy sitting in a studio pressing buttons
Auzzie360 - THE BEST ALBUM IN THE WORLD AND WILL REMAIN THE BEST!!!!!!!No chit-chat about it if you want electronic then you go straight 2 this!!!!!!!!!!
different from Hold ur colour though
BUT BETTER!!!!!!!!!
Ha brody!!! u can't do anything about it!
DJH-93 - Emotive music and lyricsEach song feels like a new chapter inside an epic book. The sound of the entire album is so compelling in the way it stirs up emotions and feelingS inside at certain moments along the way. RECOMMENDED
Best Music Critic - Everything and moreBetter Than i expected so many hits :)
Panthar22 - Awsome!!!!Awesome album and good for 12 bucks
Danny Kanes - Absolutely fantastic!I absolutely love their new album, agreed it is different from Hold Your Colour and some people might not like the vocals but the vocals for me added that extra element to the album making it epic, if you're a fan of Pendulum or just a fan of drum n bass then this album is a must.
Mentalyspoonfed - Energy +Makes all other music sound as if it were composed by zombies. Tired old zombies.
bradesmond - on repeat for weeksgreat album!!!
love The island (pt 1&2) the vulture, encoder, crush and of course watercolour and witchcraft. gotta say i didnt really enjoy much of pendulum's music before this, but the entire album is awesome. well done guys, ant wait for more from you.
armin#1 - AmazingLoved it from start to finish, one of the best full albums I've ever heard. Buy it, even if you're not a fan of Pendulum.
FatKidAtHeart - awesome albumgotta love this album 1st ive ever heard of pendulum and im deffiently gonna buy more especially love comprachicos and witchcraft
mBorg_6 - FanboiI love Pendulum and have for a little while now so let me say, this is an album that was meant to be listened to loud!!! If your neighbours aren't the kind to appreciate "doof doof" music or you have a tendency to earn speeding tickets directionally proportional to the bass levels of your car stereo, perhaps this isn't an album for you.
Thats enough from me, keep an eye on the headlines in your local paper reading "local australian boy was admitted to the psyche ward with two concert speakers taped to his head and Immersion playing on loop. Chance of complete physical recovery from volume damage 80%; chance of emotional recovery from having the speakers removed, highly improbably."
Cheers guys, enjoy the album.
allyoha - This album is INSANE!I bought this album on a bit of a whim but it is absolutely in the top 2 best albums I have bought this year. The album as a whole tells a story and is quite plainly, just phenomenal. My personal favourites are Immunise and The Vulture but each song is so well crafted it is hard to pick. Love the mixed use of vocals and other instrumentation and I get a definite The Prodigy vibe from moments in songs. SUCH a brilliant LP.
izzybizzy :) - :((( miss this band :'(((Pendulum!!!! One of my favorite bands ever!!! I'm absolutely devastated that you broke up three years ago :((((((((((((( I really miss this band. :(((((( still listen to your songs since 2006! may this band rest in peace for it was one of the most amazingest bands ever heard in my life :((( <3
Joostanj - Really really.... Good! This album is so good it made my lazy self write my first iTunes review. Ive always been more into rock and metal than electro but this I really really like. I think it's because they play with a live band just as well as the recorded album. Can't give these guys enough praise, nice work.
Vanessa :) - i love pendulumily ily ily
Em.Ma.Bl - Awesome sound :)This album is great. I love dancing to it. I like self vs. self, In Flames is a good band. Check out "Take This Life" by In Flames. (Not for the faint-hearted). I love watercolour, the island, the vulture, witchcraft and immunizer the best. โฅ Pendulumโฅ :)
X.shuffle.your.lyf.X - PendulumThe only critisism i have for this album is that it makes me drive fast, therefore earning me a couple of speeding fines.
some_bloke - Different but in a good wayAs a quick summary the entire album is well put together with songs seemlessly transitioning you will barely realize a change in song, that being said each song is slightly different in musical taste to innovate and experiment with some classic Pendulum spread throughout and overall it has worked fantastically.
Overall it is an album that is well worth the money and innovates the Pendulum brand, an excellent addition to fans of Pendulum and new listeners alike.
For those wanting more in depth:
-"Genesis" is a more flowing comfortable transition into the first proper song, which does help to build antiicpation towards the end
-"Salt in the Wound" for most will be familiar with the classic Pendulum sound within it, a good show to the Pendulum fans
-"Watercolour" is one of my personal favourites with some new perspectives on their sound, for me being light and uplifting while still fast paced.
-"Set Me On Fire" is a more In Silico song with great breaks in hard and fast sound with soft soothing voices and sounds.
-"Crush" has a face paced beat with fantastic vocals, it has been well made and for me feels like a musical story another favourite of mine
-"Under the Waves" as the name implies has waves of different sounds that seemlessly transition, one minute hard fast beat and bass and the next a softer and smooth sound
-"Immunize" was to me one of the first songs that wasn't quite like their usual style however they have managed to pull it off brilliantly
-"The Island Parts I (Dawn) and II(Dusk)" is excellently put together with a really "feel" like the respective times of day, dawn being softer and a slow wake up with more and more sounds being introduced while dusk starts harder and slowly closes sounds you dont even notice
-"Comprachicos" has an industrial edge to it with a clear Pendulum sound in there, an interesting mix, it has been pulled off but wont be to everyones taste
-"The Vulture" has an excellent rythme and beat to it, a new take on Pendulum's traditional sound and has aspects of "The Prodigy" within it
-"Witchcraft" another personal favourite of mine, it has an excellent story that gradually builds and uplifts, the chorus makes me want to work, excellent for listening while working or exercising
-"Self vs. Self" is the most distant from Pendulum sound although very different and a fantastic attempt at evolving their sound, they didnt quite pull it off for me with hard rock elements and their traditional sound
-"The Fountain" feels like a coming of age song, like the album is about to finish but makes you happy for the wonderful songs you have listened to.
-"Encoder" makes you feel like the album is complete, comprising of slower music the range of sound is excellent and a conclusion sounding like a true exit
caleb.h - wowthis is ultimate, i am now officialy a fan of pendulum. best tracks are witchcraft, island pt II and set me on fire. must buy!
eggman1989 - amazing albumI must say I'm impressed. Having come from a metal background I hadn't heard of Pendulum before the Triple J hottest 100 where they had 3 entries.
The standout tracks for me were watercolour, witchcraft and self vs. self. Having read the other reviews I realise that self vs. self isn't the most popular track, but having been a fan of in flames before this album, I must say that it's probably my favorite track.
Metal lovers looking to expand their music tastes should definitely look at buying this album.
crashbandicoot36 - Pendulum's bestthis is the best album that Pendulum has done so you have to get it now okay bye.
Linx1398 - Wonderful albumI cannot reccomend this album anymore. If you don't click the buy button, something's wrong with you, and I don't mean that figuratively, it's just that good!
foxshark - epicone word: EPIC!

This songs are amazing might actually buy it. Buy it I recommend it apart from 1 song and I can't remember the name:/ oh well check it out!
tom07-576 - Incredible.Simply phenomenal album. Just buy it.
The60sICTNerd - WitchcraftThe song Witchcraft is brilliant. It is one of my favourite songs know because it sounds great. Don't think I don't like the others though, They are all very good.
Fatboy from Eastenders - DecentIts good but defo recommend u listen to all the songs Coz a vary of genres in there. It's strange Coz a hate heavy metal and pendulum got them sounding alright.
shep7023 - Excellent stuffA wonderful blend of genres that normally couldn't and shouldn't go together. 'Self vs Self' ft In Flames is the stand out track as it is something completely different and shows that Pendulum don't like sitting on their drum and bass roots. Keep going boys!
Joeboy+++ - One wordCommercial
Lewad - 10/10 albumOne of my greatest favourite album, it's perfect!!!
R2-D2345 - EPICNESS!!Best album so far by the BEST BAND EVER!!! great for the price best for anyone who loves electric music
Maybe the tour they are about to start will be a better album WHO KNOWS
[Dr. Cactus] - FantasticAbsolutely fantastic album, everyone should own a copy of this. Expertly produced music combing elements of drum and base, rock, metal and dubstep creating a genre that can only be described as... Pendulum. Excellent album from start to finish. I would reccomend this to anyone possesing a functional pair of ears.
Gomadude - EPIC!!ยก!!Brilliant, absoulutley amazing
Spoonmonkey857 - awesome!sickage!
Cesca, - Amazing!Pendulum is just amazing - as proven by this album! :)
wendywhale - WowExcellent album to work out to !!!
Pendulumrocklikemad - Song by song reviewGenesis: A very good introduction which sets the tone for the rest of the album which is epic. 9/10
Salt In The Wounds: Similar to 'Slam' on Hold Your Colour which can only be seen as a a good thing but I feel it is slightly worse. 8/10
Watercolour: Now this is an epic with a great drop (I know it's not a dubstep song but that doesn't mean you can't have good drops) Vocals are amazing. A solid 10/10
Set Me On Fire: Heavily dubstep influenced. Underrated with great drops and the singing, although computer generated goes great with the song. 10/10
Crush: My personal favourite. Great riffs and a lovely acoustic solo balanced with Swires voice at the end is perfect. 10/10
Under The Waves: Very underrated. If this song had more vocals in places it would've become another single. This song really captures what the albums theme is about which my guess is water. This is more of a liquid drum and bass song. 10/10
Immunize: Liam Howlett makes this song. No-one else could've had a greater effect. It's also nice to see the prodigy with the pendulum as they heavily influenced each others music. 9/10
The Island Part One (Dawn): Summer tune. Vocals are great. Takes you to another place. A definite 10/10
The Island Part Two (Dusk): Another dubstep related song. Could be made better with slightly more vocals although the drops are very good. 8/10
Comprachicos: More of an absolute race your head out sort of song. Could've been a good and skilled song if it wasn't for the robot singing. 7/10
The Vulture: Ben Mounts first song and I'm happy to say it is a success. His voice mixes extremely well with the music and I'm pleased to hear this song being played at many live performances as it is a true tune. 10/10
Witchcraft: A highly rated song but isn't rated high enough. Lyrics are skilled. I don't really need to say anymore about this song. 10/10
Self vs Self: Best collaboration on the album. I have never liked metal and never will but this song is the only exception. Rob and Anders vocals balance each others voices out and are the perfect combination. 10/10
The Fountain: Country styled drum and bass. This is a relaxing song in places if you listen closely. Good collaboration although I don't see this type of genre making a name for itself anytime soon. 9/10
Encoder: Yet again Swires vocals are perfect and starts off as liquid drum and bass and then halfway through turns into a very heavily synthed song and the person swimming at the end is a great outro to a great album. 10/10
D x generation - Pendulum awesomePendulum awesome I'm 10 right and I love em I also like slipknot
moriarty50 - Great albumThis is an amazing album !! :D
Godly Potato - Outstanding!!!!Especially witchcraft
Tom_Fryars - Great AlbumThe best album by Pendulum so far!!!!
AdamMcDougall97 - Don't splitThe best album of all time!
Hiuhfdzi - Best album yetSome great tunes here. Personal favourite is the island, witchcraft and watercolour are also really great! Is it just me or does salt in the wounds sound a lot like granite???
Peter Elliott - Plain and simply brilliantThis is one of only 2 albums where i have listened to the whole thing. You've done it again Pendulum. Congrats.
KrimsonCrusade - Pendulum's best album yet!I've been a big fan of Pendulum since my dad played Slam through the speakers back in 2005. Their albums up to this point have been subpar, with truly stand out songs like Tarantula and Propane Nightmares, and other forgetable ones. However, I LOVE every single song on this album. All of them have their own style, and take the best from both Hold Your Colour and In Silico whilst adding their own substance. There is not a single song on here that I would skip. I can't recommend this enough. There is something for everyone here. -Krimson
EThomas2 - This isn't Drum n Bass. This is PENDULUM!!!Pendulum have never cared about how people have seen them. They don't care that DnB purists hate them. They are a creative band who have made there own style and who do not feel the need to do the same as every other artist. This album got me exploring new types of music and genres. I used to listen to mainly rock, but now I will listen to any type of genre so long as I feel the artists are talented and creative. The album starts of with 'Genesis' and 'Salt in The Wounds'. Despite having good parts, it is quite long. After that everything just becomes pure amazing. 'Watercolour' mixes Drum n Bass with cinematic horns that create an energetic and emotional track. 'Set me on Fire' is a dubstep influenced track that somehow seems kind of relaxing in some places. 'Crush' takes things up a notch by adding rock elements to Pendulum's unique style. 'Under The Waves' is an underrated track that personally I think needs more recognition. 'Immunize' features the Prodigy's, Liam Howlett, and you can hear the effect it has. The Island is a 2-part track. The first part is heavily influenced by house music, while the second part quickly transfers to a dubstep style track. 'Comprachinos' has a catchy intro, and although I feel it is one of the weaker tracks it certainly has some amazing parts. 'The Vulture' features Ben Mount and it doesn't disappoint. The energy this track produces is indescribable. 'Witchcraft' has a calm intro that quickly turns into a drum n bass masterpiece. 'Self vs Self' features heavy metal band 'In Flames'. At first i wasn't keen, but over a short period of time it grew on me and became one of my favourite tracks. 'The fountain' is a great song with incredible vocals from Steven Wilson. The album closes with 'Encoder' which again is a great song.
A lot of critics have given this album bad reviews and I don't see why. The energy this album produces is just mind blowing.
Many people call Pendulum overrated, mainstream and commercial. To be honest, all you have to do is look at the featured artists to know that isn't true. I didn't buy this album because it was in the charts. I bought it because Pendulum are an amazing group who have produced some of the most creative pieces of music I have ever heard. I could listen to this album for the rest of my life and I wouldn't get bored of this.
I hope the album they might be releasing in 2014 is as good as this.
Atom Heart Piper - Great Album! This is a great album with some amazing songs like 'Set Me On Fire', 'Salt in the Wounds', 'Witchcraft' and 'The Island Pt. 2: Dusk', and still some fantastic songs to go with those... HOWEVER... it doesn't really have the same feel of Hold Your Colour which was pure drum 'n' bass. Nevertheless, it is a brilliant album and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.. especially for ยฃ6!
Jake Scarlett - The bestThe best album ever!!!
Gingergodofwar - My reviewThis is the best album I have bought my my favourite band, like all songs but 1 ( island part 2 dusk ) but it is a very good album and I would recommend this to anyone who asked what to buy!
Geoff the Llama - More great songsI love this album and cannot see why many complain that it is not 'drum n base' enough. Frankly if they want to hear only that then they should go and find it elsewhere because it's OK to experiment with other styles and combine them in their songs. Nearly all of the tracks on the album are amazing. However I feel that Self vs Self (which is not dubstep as someone has write below me, part 2 of the island is more that) would have been better as just an instrumental. Apart from this another great album by Pendulum.
P.S Why the hell is this album classified as Alternative, ITunes you IDIOTS!
Te pacmann773 - AwesomeAmazing. Enough said.
Tah132 - AmazingBuy this album, much better than Justin bieber
Failure1 - GoodI have always been metal fan so DnB isn't my fortรจ however this album was absolutely amazing, my favourites are:
Self vs Self 10/10 coming from a metalhead, this is amazing and the standout track
Water colour 8/10 needs alittle more guts
Witchcraft 10/10 I love how they their DnB routes with brilliant vocals
Unfortunately I'm not too keen on the dubstep style like in "set me on fire" (I think that's what it's called lol) as personally I think dubstep is complete overkill.
Brilliant album by a brilliant band who I desperately want to see live :D
Dhghhhhhhh1112 - Wow this album has 1241 reviewsAmazing get it now
jayp94 - As good as it gets!Great album, love most songs, best electronica/drum and bass album out there!
RobHaggis - Amazing albumGreat album. This was my first pendulum album and has really transformed me into a fan of this album and drum and bass. Great mix of tunes but, unlike other albums, they can also get the drum and bass perfect. An absolute bargain at ยฃ5.99. I would pay ยฃ15!
Aesthetix7 - AmazingI love it. Especially listening to it through my Dr Dre Beats Studio :)
Ben.Gallagher - Genius.First album I bought on my new iPhone. Absolutely amazing.
HTID74 - AWESOME!!!!BEST 5.99 I've ever spent!!!!
RECOMMENDED!!!!
PENDULUM ROCKS!!!
\\(^0^)//
hiyaimsuzie - Can't fault it!Seriously, their best one to date. Love it.
HogueyBear - A little late...I have had the album since it first came out, but I forgot to write a review. All I can say is that it's the best album I have bought off iTunes by some distance. Song wise The Vulture & Witchcraft are my favourites!
Qwertyuiopaddfghjklzxcvbnm1234 - Luv itLuv witchcraft and the island part 2
TW/GW - Immerse Yourself In Liquid GoldEncompassing a wide range of subgenres and even daring to delve into metal with Swedish melodic death metal band In Flames, Immersion at the same time has a nice balance of peaceful: Under The Waves and the gentle ending, Encoder, which features the sound of the gentle swash of waves to complete this entire album concept of organicity and water; and also high-energy! - Crush, The Vulture and Comprachicos. Comprachicos is very underrated, whereas I feel Immunise is far too repetitive and is a particular let down since it features Howlett from The Prodigy, a band which has forefronted dance music for the past 22+ years.
Chaz skez - Perfection!!!!!You need this album!!!
